MOLDABLE RCF consists of ceramic fibers dispersed in a slightly sticky refractory binder system. The putty-like consistency allows the material to be easily applied to most surfaces by caulking, hand forming, or troweling. The Moldable RCF is capable of drying at a range of temperatures from ambient up to extreme temperature conditions. Once dried into place the Moldable RCF possesses excellent resistance to molten metal contact while maintaining its high tensile strength.
